Responsibilities
- Lead research and development of 2026-era AI systems including generative agents, autonomous decisioning frameworks, and quantum-enhanced machine learning
- Architect strategic roadmaps for AI integration across healthcare, climate tech, and human augmentation domains
- Partner with C-suite executives to align AI initiatives with long-term business objectives and market disruption
- Establish governance protocols for ethical AI deployment, bias mitigation, and transparent algorithmic decision-making
- Secure and manage $50M+ research budgets through academic-industry consortiums and government grants
- Mentor cross-functional teams in AI ethics, quantum computing fundamentals, and predictive modeling
- Present breakthrough findings at global tech summits and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Computing, or Cognitive Neuroscience with 8+ years of AI research leadership
- Proven track record deploying production-level AI systems at scale (GPT-4, quantum annealing, or similar)
- Deep expertise in transformer architectures, neuromorphic computing, and ethical AI frameworks
- Experience securing $20M+ in R&D funding through DARPA, NSF, or corporate venture arms
- Published research in Nature/Science AI journals with 50+ citations in emerging tech domains
- Expertise in ISO/IEC 42001 AI governance standards and NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- Exceptional strategic communication skills for translating complex concepts to C-level stakeholders
