Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and market shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Produce high-impact reports and presentations for executive stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align innovation priorities
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory developments affecting future markets
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Translate foresight insights into actionable business strategies and product roadmaps
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning or futures research
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Deep understanding of emerging tech: AI, quantum computing, biotech
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Palisade, Foresight Platform)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
