Responsibilities
- Develop forward-looking technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry trends and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, carbon-negative tech)
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify emerging opportunities in AI ethics, biotech convergence, and space tech
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on technological ROI and market readiness
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and government innovation labs (DARPA, NASA)
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology adoption impact and sustainability goals
- Mentor junior strategists in future-casting methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year vision cycles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Certifications in Technology Foresight (e.g., APF, WFSF) or AI Governance
- Published research or patents in future technologies (IEEE journals, Nature Futures)
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding from federal/state programs
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, FTC)
