Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 innovation horizons
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and emerging threats/opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with compelling data visualization
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track progress against long-term technology adoption curves
- Collaborate with R&D to prioritize breakthrough initiatives with exponential potential
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's trajectory toward 2026
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, Web3, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives with measurable impact
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate technological threads
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful long-term technology predictions
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies for volatile futures
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to inspire cross-functional alignment
