Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum AI and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with C-suite executives and academic partners
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies through market analysis and patent research
- Design scalable frameworks for ethical AI implementation and regulatory compliance
- Present strategic insights to investors and board members at quarterly innovation summits
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging technology forecasting methodologies
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype breakthrough solutions for real-world applications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching tech initiatives valued at $50M+
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, ISO)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech commercialization or impact scaling
