- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping, testing, and scaling breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and strategic partnership opportunities
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, government labs, and industry pioneers
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies across product lines and operational processes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching successful future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Executive-level experience with strategic planning and P&L management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
