Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate 2026-viable solutions
- Identify emerging tech trends through academic partnerships and global innovation scouting
- Secure $50M+ in future-focused grants and strategic investments
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Maintain competitive intelligence through patent analysis and startup ecosystem monitoring
Qualifications
- 10+ years in emerging tech strategy with 5+ in executive leadership
- Published research in AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Track record of scaling innovations from concept to market
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- PhD in relevant field or equivalent entrepreneurial impact
- Security clearance or ability to obtain government contracts
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
