Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying breakthrough opportunities across emerging tech domains
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-forward solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to anticipate market shifts
- Present innovation insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive R&D budget allocation and resource optimization
- Mentor a team of innovation specialists and futurist researchers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in relevant field (e.g., Futures Studies, Technology Management, Engineering)
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption
- Experience building innovation labs or incubation programs
