Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions (AI, quantum computing, bio-integration)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Drive strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and global research institutions
- Present futuristic concepts to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage R&D budgets and resource allocation for experimental initiatives
- Champion design thinking methodologies to solve complex future challenges
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with global impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional strategic planning and systems thinking capabilities
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
- Published thought leadership on technological forecasting or innovation
- Strong network with tech futurists, VCs, and academic researchers
