Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for 2026+ technological and societal trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Analyze global data streams (AI, biotech, climate, etc.) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present visionary frameworks to executive teams and key stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to incubate breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year horizons
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track evolution of strategic initiatives
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500/tech unicorn experience
- Proven track record of developing long-term strategic frameworks (minimum 5-year horizon)
- Expertise in emerging tech: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, etc.)
