Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-forward innovation roadmaps across quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive sustainability integration into all innovation frameworks
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget for experimental projects
- Represent company at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in emerging tech trends: AGI, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience managing distributed R&D teams across 3+ countries
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Portfolio of at least 3 successful future-focused initiatives
