Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts for 2026-2030
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate emerging concepts
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research organizations
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
- Mentor junior futurists and drive a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech ecosystems
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures
- Experience leading innovation sprints with cross-functional teams
- Portfolio published in industry journals or major tech publications
