Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams (AI/Quantum/Bio) to prototype and validate breakthrough solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop patent-pending methodologies for future-proofing enterprise systems
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite and key stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of innovation across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching 3+ market-disrupting products/solutions
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Strong background in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- PhD or Master's in relevant field (preferred) with peer-reviewed publications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding or grants
