Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026-2030 landscape
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients across AI, quantum computing, and biotech sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions using agile methodologies
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and emerging tech startups
- Author forward-looking white papers and thought leadership pieces for industry publications
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists in trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA with tech specialization
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale innovation initiatives (>$10M value)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology adoption lifecycle models
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies: AGI, synthetic biology, decentralized systems
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or equivalent strategic foresight training
- Portfolio published in Harvard Business Review or equivalent tier publications
