Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026-2030 strategic foresight frameworks through trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting our industry
- Produce high-impact whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging opportunities and risks
- Partner with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future market demands
- Establish early-warning systems for technological obsolescence and competitive threats
- Design and implement strategic roadmaps for digital transformation and sustainable growth
- Mentor junior strategists in futures-thinking methodologies and analytical techniques
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futures thinking or strategic foresight (articles, books, reports)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
