Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends to develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for clients in AI, biotech, and renewable energy sectors
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on disruptive technologies like quantum AI and neuro-interfaces
- Author white papers on ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Design predictive models using machine learning to forecast market disruptions and societal shifts
- Coordinate with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions in our Austin Innovation Lab
- Present findings at global forums like Web Summit and the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Computational Sociology with 5+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed research on emerging technologies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis using tools like Gartner Hype Cycle
- Proficiency in Python/R for predictive modeling and data visualization of complex systems
- Deep understanding of blockchain, neuromorphic computing, and climate tech convergence
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston) preferred
