Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential tech trends (AI, biotech, quantum computing) to forecast 2026+ societal and economic impacts
- Develop scenario-planning models for Fortune 500 clients navigating disruptive futures
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into corporate strategy and R&D pipelines
- Produce high-impact trend briefs and whitepapers published in industry journals
- Curate and maintain proprietary Future Signal Database tracking 500+ emerging indicators
- Mentor junior futurists while representing Horizon at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or scenario-planning projects
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and causal layered analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their ethical implications
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategy under uncertainty
