Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology/socioeconomic impact framework
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives and board members
- Analyze global trends (AI, biotech, climate, geopolitics) to identify strategic opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences
- Partner with R&D to prioritize moonshot projects with 2026 viability
- Design ethical governance frameworks for emerging technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published work on technology/societal trends (whitepapers, books, journals)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5-10 year forecasting track record
