Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum, neurotech) and develop strategic frameworks for 2026 implementation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author annual '2026 Horizon Report' with market impact assessments and risk analyses
- Partner with R&D to de-risk long-term R&D pipelines and secure funding
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and shape industry discourse
- Develop KPI frameworks to measure future-readiness across business units
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into business value
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech and academic ecosystems
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption
- Experience with agile futures research frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
