Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop forward-looking strategic frameworks and innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term growth objectives
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and product development
- Author thought leadership publications and presentations on future scenarios and disruptive opportunities
- Build and manage cross-functional futurist task forces across R&D, marketing, and operations
- Quantify future market opportunities through data-driven scenario modeling and forecasting
- Advise leadership on emerging risks and disruptive threats requiring strategic pivots
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful futures projects with measurable business outcomes
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems and futurist communities
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, backcasting)
