Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify 2026-adjacent technology and market disruptions
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 5-year future states
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align on future vision
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging tech implications (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-forward solutions with 2026 deployment targets
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure future-readiness across business units
- Represent company at global futurist forums and innovation summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of mapping technology adoption curves
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend impact analysis
- Strong understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published author or keynote speaker on future-focused topics
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-vision projects with measurable outcomes
