Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology foresight strategies targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives on emerging tech trends (quantum computing, bio-integration, AI autonomy)
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire disruptive startups in pre-seed to Series A stages
- Author annual 'Future State' reports predicting industry transformations and competitive threats
- Design and implement innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping of 2026-viable solutions
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-driven portfolio management
- Present strategic roadmaps to board members and key stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, technology consulting, or corporate foresight roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA with specialization in Innovation
- Proven track record of launching products/services that achieved $50M+ ARR
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, decentralized systems)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prediction and capture of emerging market opportunities
- Exceptional executive communication skills with experience presenting to Fortune 500 boards
