Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for business units across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Present trend analysis and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops to explore future possibilities with cross-functional teams
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on future-facing business strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi, backcasting)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented future-strategies
- Ability to synthesize global data points into actionable business insights
