Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, synthetic biology, neuro interfaces)
- Lead cross-disciplinary workshops with NASA, MIT, and WHO-affiliated researchers
- Anticipate societal impacts of disruptive technologies through trend analysis and scenario planning
- Design ethical frameworks for human augmentation and autonomous systems integration
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite executives and government innovation boards
- Manage a portfolio of moonshot projects with $50M+ R&D budgets
- Author thought leadership publications in Nature Futures and IEEE Spectrum
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist research
- Published author in peer-reviewed future studies journals
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, synthetic bio, AI ethics)
- Experience presenting to Fortune 100 C-suite and government innovation councils
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Portfolio of 3+ technology roadmaps implemented by Fortune 500 companies
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
