Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech verticals (quantum AI, synthetic biology, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-disciplinary research teams of 15+ scientists and engineers
- Secure $10M+ in federal/private grants for moonshot initiatives
- Architect patent-protected frameworks for 2026 commercial applications
- Present findings to Fortune 100 C-suite executives and government bodies
- Maintain compliance with emerging global tech ethics standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, Bioengineering, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years leading R&D with proven $50M+ budget management
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithms or synthetic biology CRISPR applications
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for federal partnerships
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation platforms
- Portfolio of 3+ commercialized tech innovations
