Responsibilities
- Analyze technological, economic, and societal megatrends to forecast 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning models for AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation strategies
- Produce trend reports and predictive briefs for executive and investor audiences
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Advise product development teams on future-proofing solutions for 2026 markets
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global innovation forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation consulting, corporate strategy, or futures research
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario-planning projects
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, Web3, synthetic biology, etc.) and their societal impact
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with visualization expertise (Tableau, Flourish)
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into executive-ready frameworks
- Strong network within futurist communities (e.g., Association of Professional Futurists)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and Delphi techniques
