Responsibilities
- Lead strategic R&D initiatives focused on 2026 technology horizons
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers and researchers
- Develop roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (AI, quantum, IoT)
- Secure and manage innovation partnerships with academic institutions
- Present technical vision to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscape
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in tech R&D with 3+ in leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: AI, quantum computing, blockchain, or sustainable tech
- Experience managing innovation labs or R&D departments
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills
- Published research or patents in relevant fields
- Ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
