- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological horizons
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation with business objectives
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget across 3-5 strategic projects
- Build and mentor high-performing teams of futurists and engineers
- Drive patent development and IP protection for emerging technologies
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present innovation strategies to investors and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology innovation with 5+ in leadership roles
- Proven track record in launching quantum/AI/biotech initiatives
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets
- Deep understanding of emerging tech ecosystems (Web3, AGI, etc.)
- Strong stakeholder management with C-suite/board experience
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (e.g., IEEE, Nature)
- Certification in Strategic Innovation Management (SIM preferred)
