Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 innovation roadmap aligned with global market trends and emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling breakthrough solutions for AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and competitive threats in the 2025-2027 timeframe
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders through data-driven visualizations and scenario modeling
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI analysis and risk mitigation protocols
- Foster an experimental culture by implementing agile innovation sprints and rapid prototyping frameworks
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and venture capitalists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or technology consulting with proven 5+ year planning horizons
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, AR/VR) and their commercial applications
- Track record of launching at least two industry-defining products or services
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning, technology roadmapping)
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences
