Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum architectures targeting 2026 commercial viability
- Lead quantum error correction protocol development for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic processor integration
- Develop quantum algorithms for enterprise optimization problems
- Create security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography transitions
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum computing principles
- Present roadmaps to C-suite and government stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience with quantum gate model algorithms
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and simulation
- Familiarity with superconducting and ion-trap qubit platforms
- Strong knowledge of quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
