Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with error correction capabilities
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead prototyping of quantum hardware systems in cryogenic environments
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning pipelines
- Research fault-tolerant quantum computing methodologies for 2026 deployment
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and government agencies
- Patent novel quantum circuit designs and computational protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in quantum hardware/software architecture
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface codes, LDPC)
- Proficiency with Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq programming frameworks
- Prior experience with cryogenic quantum systems (10mK environments)
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Security clearance eligibility for government quantum initiatives
