Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for 100+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead prototyping sessions with cryogenic quantum hardware teams
- Create simulation frameworks for quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Collaborate with AI researchers on quantum machine learning models
- Document quantum computing architectures in patent filings
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and superconducting circuits
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Azure Quantum)
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical stakeholders
