Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic scenarios and horizon scanning frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities
- Quantify market impact of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and boards
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author quarterly trend reports and future-state whitepapers
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futures or technology domains
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major future-focused initiatives
