Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, climate tech, biotech convergence) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients using predictive modeling and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions and strategic pivots
- Author executive briefings and whitepapers on emerging technologies and their societal impacts
- Build and maintain proprietary trend intelligence databases using Python and advanced analytics
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior futurists and drive innovation methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Data Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and predictive modeling methodologies
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical programming (Python/R)
- Demonstrated track record of translating future insights into market-ready strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation journals/conferences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or University of Houston) strongly preferred
