Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data from quantum computing, biotech, and AI to identify 2026 inflection points
- Develop strategic frameworks for long-term R&D investment prioritization
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state scenarios
- Author foresight reports and policy recommendations for executive decision-making
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on joint research initiatives
- Design ethical guardrails for emerging technologies (neuro-interfaces, autonomous systems)
- Mentor innovation teams in rapid prototyping and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on 2020s technology convergence trends
- Proficiency in foresight tools: horizon scanning, Delphi method, cross-impact matrices
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum machine learning, synthetic biology, or space commercialization
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term technology strategy
