Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to forecast socioeconomic, technological, and environmental shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging tech adoption (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype disruptive business models
- Author visionary white papers and scenario-planning reports for executive stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation accelerators
- Monitor global policy/regulatory changes affecting long-term strategy
- Mentor innovation teams in futures-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for tech-driven transformation
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into executive narratives
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks
