Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Horizon Map, identifying disruptive technologies and socioeconomic shifts
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives and board members
- Author quarterly foresight reports with predictive modeling using AI-driven analytics
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions (e.g., climate resilience systems)
- Represent the company at global forums like Davos and World Economic Summit
- Mentor a team of 5 futurists and innovation strategists
- Secure $2M+ annual budget for trend-research initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or policy development
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and weak signal detection
- Proficiency with trend analysis tools (e.g., Palantir, Tableau)
- Experience working with UN SDGs and IPCC climate scenarios
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (Spanish beneficial)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year strategic implementations
