Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces affecting 2026+ markets
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Conduct cross-industry research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and societal shifts
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to align organizational strategy with future possibilities
- Author high-impact futurist reports and presentations for board-level audiences
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and thought leaders
- Integrate foresight outputs into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in foresight, innovation consulting, or strategic planning leadership
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proven track record of translating futuristic insights into executable business strategies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities with data-driven mindset
- Experience with AI/ML tools for predictive analytics and trend forecasting
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist projects with measurable impact
