You'll work directly with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global partners to develop frameworks that anticipate market shifts, ethical implications, and scalability challenges for technologies poised to define the next decade. Your insights will shape product development, investment priorities, and talent acquisition strategies across our AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech divisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies with 2026+ impact
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing advancements
- Collaborate with R&D to translate futuristic concepts into feasible product blueprints
- Conduct scenario planning for regulatory, ethical, and societal implications of new tech
- Present foresight insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Drive innovation workshops to cross-pollinate ideas across business units
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurist roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology ecosystem transformation projects
