Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with 2026+ market impact
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and societal trends
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessments for technological disruptions
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present visionary insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-driven models
- Build and lead cross-functional innovation task forces
- Monitor global tech policy developments and regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of developing long-term tech roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong communication skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism
