Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions using agile methodologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Identify partnership opportunities with startups, research institutions, and industry leaders
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to maintain first-mover advantage
- Drive innovation workshops to foster creative thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or product development with proven futurist impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, IoT, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex innovation cycles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking with data-driven decision-making
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology foresight projects
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Forecasting preferred
