Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neural interfaces) through 2026
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for disruptive tech applications
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis for technological disruptions
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with business vision
- Present futuristic technology concepts to investors and industry partners
- Build and lead a specialized future-tech incubation team
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 technology forecasts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and predictive modeling capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Published research or patents in future technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
