Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies relevant to 2026 market landscape
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Design and validate prototypes for futuristic concepts (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Present findings to executive leadership and translate complex ideas into actionable plans
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership content on technology trends and future scenarios
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in technology R&D or strategic innovation roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products or services
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method)
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Portfolio of future-tech concepts or published research
