Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop and maintain a strategic technology roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct deep-dive research on quantum computing, AI governance, and biotech convergence
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario analyses
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into development pipelines
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on technological evolution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (TED, CES, etc.)
