Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead moonshot projects targeting 2026 breakthroughs (e.g., neuromorphic interfaces, carbon-negative data centers)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proof architectures into commercial offerings
- Present visionary blueprints to investors and industry stakeholders at CES and Web Summit
- Mentor a 15-person innovation lab specializing in exponential technologies
- Anticipate geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting 2026 tech deployment
- Establish patent portfolios for proprietary 2026-enabling technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record shipping 3+ industry-disrupting products
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI alignment, climate tech, or synthetic biology
- PhD or equivalent in computer science, physics, or bioengineering preferred
- Keynote speaker at 2+ major tech conferences (2020-2023)
- Published author in MIT Tech Review or Nature on future technologies
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Q#)
- Security clearance for government innovation partnerships
