Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 across AI, quantum computing, and biotech sectors
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients on emerging tech disruption
- Author quarterly 'FutureTech Pulse' reports read by 50,000+ industry leaders
- Manage $5M R&D budget for prototype development of next-gen solutions
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and UN Digital Futures forums
- Mentor a team of 12 futurist researchers and data scientists
- Forge strategic alliances with NASA, DARPA, and global tech accelerators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership in Nature, HBR, or IEEE Spectrum
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives from concept to market
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese for international stakeholder engagement
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for government partnerships
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ future-tech commercialization successes
