Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technology evolution through 2026
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into development pipelines
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic labs and tech pioneers
- Author thought leadership on 2026 technological paradigm shifts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends (portfolio of published forecasts required)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of advanced technologies
