Responsibilities
- Design and implement bias mitigation algorithms for ML models
- Develop ethical AI governance frameworks aligned with emerging regulations
- Conduct algorithmic audits and impact assessments for high-stakes AI systems
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI lifecycle
- Lead research on emerging AI ethics challenges (quantum computing implications, synthetic media)
- Create transparency documentation for AI decision-making processes
- Advocate for responsible AI adoption across stakeholder groups
Qualifications
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field
- 3+ years in AI governance, ML ethics, or responsible tech implementation
- Proficiency with bias detection tools (IBM Fairness 360, Google's What-If Tool)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong background in statistical analysis and causal inference
- Published work in AI ethics or tech ethics journals preferred
- Ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
