Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct ethical risk assessments for AI models using structured evaluation methodologies
- Lead cross-functional working groups on AI bias mitigation and fairness metrics
- Advise product teams on ethical AI design principles and regulatory compliance
- Represent company in global AI ethics forums and regulatory discussions
- Establish monitoring systems for ongoing AI system ethical performance
- Create educational materials on responsible AI for internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, ethics, or compliance with Fortune 500 tech experience
- Expertise in developing ethical frameworks for autonomous systems
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Proven track record in bias mitigation for machine learning systems
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in AI ethics or governance (e.g., IEEE, ACM)
- Experience publishing in peer-reviewed ethics or AI journals
