Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics policies for autonomous systems and predictive analytics
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering, legal, and product teams
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and implement mitigation strategies
- Advocate regulatory compliance with emerging AI governance frameworks
- Design transparency protocols for high-stakes AI decision-making
- Train stakeholders on ethical AI deployment best practices
- Monitor global AI policy developments and adapt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible tech leadership
- Expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Framework, and global regulations
- Published research on algorithmic fairness or AI ethics
- Experience with bias detection tools (Aequitas, IBM Fairness 360)
- Exceptional stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of implementing enterprise-wide ethical AI programs
